The seismic response is analyzed with total stress method ; and it ' s found that the positions of the most dangerous slide surfaces are fairly stable though the precision for searching is very high . the idea of newmark method is induced to calculate permanent deformation on circular sliding surfaces . the precision is increased and the complexity of searching is lessened 本文采用总应力法分析了填埋场在地震作用下的动力响应，通过计算发现，在滑弧搜索的精度相当高的情况下，最危险滑弧的位置仍然比较固定；在这一发现的基础上，引入newmark地震永久变形的思想，并将其运用于圆形滑动面从而提高了该方法的精度并减少了试算的繁复性。
